Vodafone — Basketball From Within
Making-of of a live-streaming activation for Global Events, with subjective 4G cameras mounted on referees during a Spanish national basketball team game.
The Challenge
Document an unconventional live-streaming activation: subjective 4G cameras mounted on basketball referees, streaming in real time for Vodafone. Broadcast live.
The Process
Designed the video recording and transmission processes. Directed the recording process. Direction and editing of the making-of, capturing both the technical logistics of the activation and the final result from the viewer's perspective. We shot with GoPro cameras and transmitters connected to them via HDMI, and also had to design a power supply system for the cameras, all packed into as small a backpack as possible so it wouldn't interfere with the referees' performance.
